Gaisce at the Ploughing Championships 2026
Three days. Thousands of people. One brilliant opportunity to showcase what Gaisce – The President’s Award is all about.
At the Ploughing Championships 2026, Gaisce took its place in the heart of the action with a stand in the Government Village, bringing the spirit of adventure, personal development and youth achievement to one of Ireland’s biggest annual events.
Across the three days, Gaisce Development Officers and Youth Ambassadors met hundreds of visitors, sharing their experiences and introducing people to the opportunities available through Gaisce. From young people curious about taking on a challenge to parents, educators and community groups interested in getting involved, there was a constant stream of conversations about what Gaisce can offer.
But we didn’t just stay at the stand. Over the course of the three days, we headed out with the Youth Ambassadors into the Ploughing Championships to get a feel for the scale and atmosphere of the event. We explored the many stands, activities and attractions taking place across the site, capturing the energy, characters and experiences that make the Ploughing such a unique part of the Irish calendar.
Through our videos, we followed Gaisce’s journey at the Ploughing Championships — from the conversations happening at the Government Village stand to the experiences of our Youth Ambassadors as they took in everything the event had to offer.
Three days gave us the chance to meet hundreds of people, tell countless stories about Gaisce, make new connections and, most importantly, have a great time doing it.
From a videography perspective, we made a daily wrap up video to show Gaisce’s involvement, interviewed Gaisce’s partners and sponsors and collected material for many more videos. Working alongside Gaisce’s own content creators we were able to ensure that we delivered a range of high quality video assets to use for current and future projects
