Audi quattro Cup 2023 Highlights
Hosted at the beautiful Druids Glen Hotel and Golf Resort, The Audi quattro cup 2023 was an event to remember. Bringing together all the qualifiers from the regional tournaments, this years prize was a big one! The winners will represent Ireland at the Audi quattro Cup World Final, which will take place at the Al Mouj Golf Resort in Muscat, Oman.
Although the day started off quite wet, the spirits of the golfers remained high and there was some very high quality play throughout the day. Mid morning brought a gap in the clouds, and the competition was fierce. We captured some beautiful footage throughout the day on our cameras and drones, aiming to turn around a highlights video to be played in at the prize giving ceremony that evening.
While the participants sat down for the gala dinner and we were busy putting together our video. There was a captivating discussion with Irish Jockey Rachael Blackmore MBE hosted by RTE sports broadcaster Jacqui Hurley and then the prizes were handed out. Mike O’Halloran and Michael O’Brien, qualifiers from the Audi Cork event, navigated the fiercely competitive playing field to secure the top spot with a final score of 46 points.
As soon as the winners received the trophy the lights dimmed again. To the surprise and delight of the crowd, our highlights package was played in – showing some of the best of the days play, getting insight into the competition with on course interviews and giving a different perspective with some beautiful drone photography.
