We recently worked on The Fresh International Film Festival, an annual celebration of young filmmaking talent, culminated in the prestigious Ireland’s Young Filmmaker of the Year Awards 2024. This event was held in  Limerick’s Troy Studios and brought together aspiring filmmakers from across the country and beyond.
The Fresh International Film Festival is dedicated to supporting and promoting young filmmakers, offering them a platform to present their work to a wider audience. The festival includes workshops, screenings, and networking opportunities, providing invaluable experiences for young talents.
The climax of the festival is the Ireland’s Young Filmmaker of the Year Awards, which recognise outstanding achievements in various categories, including Best Film, Best Director, Best Screenplay, and more.
Leaving Certificate student Fiachra Cotter O’Culachain from Dublin was crowned Ireland’s Young Filmmaker of the Year 2024 at Fresh International Film Festival, for his short film IVY. This coming-of-age film follows Hugh, a teen facing the struggles of life.

We filmed the event for RTE, providing camera services at both the Junior and Senior events, filming the show itself and interviews with all the winners and organisers. We were delighted to be able to lend our expertise to such an important event in he filmmaking calendar and to meet some of the up and coming talent in Irelands creative landscape.
