We can all agree that in a year like no other there has been a lot of disquiet about engaging with retail and hospitality. With dublin.ie we made a piece to show that Dublin was still open for business in the run up to Christmas and that people could still happily and safely engage with the city and all it has to offer.

Featuring a diverse cast, music by the fantastic Hudson Taylor and voiceover by Dublin’s peoples poet Stephen James Smith our short film details some of the activities offered such as shopping for unique artisan products, enjoying a nice hot drink on a chilly day and bringing the kids in to see the Christmas lights; things that all seemed so normal just 12 months ago.

We hope that our video can instil a bit of confidence in people to pop back into town and engage with the retailers and restauranteurs in a safe manner as they could really do with that little boost before closing for Christmas.
